pickles!

Our neighbor has been growing veggies all summer and I have been excited to see how much his garden will produce. Well, the other day he came over with a 5 gallon bucket FULL of veggies for us! Since I only planted a tomato plant this summer I was thrilled to accept his neighborly gift. The main veggie in the bucket was cucumbers and although we love cucumbers-we don't eat them for every meal so I needed to figure out what we could do with them. I looked up a few recipes for pickles and kind of made my own concoction for the brine.
