current obsessions

Oats: My obsession with oats started when I learned that oats can increase milk production. I started eating oatmeal everyday for breakfast which lead to eating oats for every snack! Thanks to pinterest it is so easy to find yummy oat recipes! HERE are some reasons you should be obsessed with oats!

Temple Run: I became addicted to this App while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Grandpa Rick and Uncle Dewey were playing this nonstop so I had to see what the hype was about. I installed the App and have been hooked ever since! I feel like I am always waiting in the car while Matt "runs in" to the store if we just need something quick. It is just easier not to get the babe out-especially if he's asleep. This little game is perfect to fill the moments while waiting solo in the car. Here's the description:
"In pretty much every treasure hunting adventure movie there’s one specific scene in which the plucky hero finally gets his hands on the treasure but then has to navigate a maze of booby traps in order to get out alive. Temple Run is this scene and nothing else. And it’s amazing." - SlideToPlay.com

Wrapping things in yarn: Pinterest has inspired me to do many little projects here and there. One of them was wrapping these letters in yarn. I was inspired by THIS post. Then I took it to another level, wrapping everything in sight! I've wrapped sticks, glass bottles, and lamps! The hubs had to step in and say enough is enough! Pretty soon he would be wrapped in yarn if I hadn't been stopped!

Leaves:The biggest decor obsession I have is with leaves! If I could grow a tree through the middle of our house, I would. I love being outside in the summer going for walks and bike rides through the woods. There is just something about leaves that makes me feel fresh! I have wall art, picture frames, candle holders, jewelry, towels, shower curtain, soap dispenser, curtain rods, even our bed frame. I'm telling you this is a true obsession!

She Reads Truth: I first discovered #sheReadsTruth from another blogger. We go through a Bible verse a day and reflect on what God is teaching each of us-it is a sort of virtual bible study through Twitter. I don't tweet but I do read what others are responding to and I think it is amazing that we can connect miles apart over something so powerful! Join us!
